The purpose of this component is to evaluate the learner’s knowledge and practical competencies in dealing with various workplace first aid scenarios. The assessment covers a range of critical aspects, including understanding their role and responsibilities as a first aider, ensuring scene safety, and providing appropriate first aid for specific situations.
The purpose of this component is to assess the learner’s knowledge and practical competencies in handling a variety of workplace first aid situations. The assessment focuses on the learner’s ability to provide effective first aid for specific scenarios, including burns, scalds, eye injuries, anaphylaxis, suspected poisoning, major illness, as well as suspected bone, muscle, joint, head, spinal, or chest injuries.
Learners must be 16 years of age or older on the first day of teaching.
No prior qualifications or specific skills, knowledge, or understanding are required for enrolling in this course. We welcome learners from all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you’re starting from scratch or already have some knowledge in the field, this qualification is open to all individuals eager to enhance their understanding of patient care services and ambulance driving.
