Racecourse Medical Cover

Medicare has been working in conjunction with the British Horseracing Associate for nearly 20 years. We are proud to be the sole provider of racecourses owned by the prestigious Arena Racing Company. We hold longstanding contracts with The Jockey Club and a large number of independent racecourses.

Our horse racing divisions currently provide ambulance cover to 30 racecourses across the UK. We provide paramedic-led ambulances to all our racecourses to respond to any Jockey who becomes injured at any point throughout the fixture.

We provide additional medical cover and managerial support to large events hosted by the racecourse when required. This includes the event preparation support of medical risk assessments and response plans for large-scale music events hosted at the racecourses.
