We’re running a free introduction day to give you the chance to get an in depth feedback and get a feel for driving an ambulance.
If you are curious about blue light driving but want to explore it in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. This is not blue light driving training, there’s no pass or fail, and no expectations. Instead, it’s a chance to:
• Get behind the wheel of an ambulance
• Understand how an ambulance handles at speed.
• Receive honest, constructive feedback from experienced professionals
• NOTE: There’s no blue light driving involved.
What can you expect?
30-minute ambulance driving session
A practical driving session designed to assess your real-world ambulance driving ability.
Smoothness and vehicle control
We’ll look at how smoothly you handle the vehicle, including steering, braking, acceleration, and overall control.
Driving experience and confidence level
An assessment of your current driving experience, confidence behind the wheel, and suitability for emergency vehicle operations.
Situational awareness and information gathering
We’ll observe how you read the road, anticipate hazards, process information, and maintain awareness of your surroundings while driving.
If you’ve ever thought about CERAD Level 3 but felt unsure or wanted a confidence check first, this is the perfect place to start.
