Welcome to Medicare EMS Group UK Ltd.
We are a national company dedicated to providing world class pre-hospital care, event management and education. We are more than just a service provider, we are a team dedicated to supporting our NHS Ambulance Services, providing quality education to those pursuing a career in the ambulance section or supporting clinicians to further their education and safeguarding the health and well-being of your event attendees and artists, while creating a safe and well-managed environment for our workforce to excel.
We supply medical cover for an array of venues and racecourses throughout the UK as well as providing ongoing support for the NHS through our frontline division.

We supply our clients with teams of health care professionals dedicated to providing first class pre-hospital care. Our teams consist of GMC registered Doctors, HCPC registered Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Care Assistants and FREC3 qualified First Responders.
Our journey began in 2003 with a vision to revolutionise event medical cover services across the UK. Today, we are proud to have grown into the industry’s leading provider, trusted, and respected for our unparalleled quality and service. The commitment to our clients and patients is at the heart of everything we do. We are now proud to be supporting three NHS Ambulance Services across the south of England to provide frontline paramedic led ambulances to respond to 999 calls. Our racing division has gain significant traction and we are now responsible for the care and safety of Jockeys across 30 racecourses nationally.
From an event perspective, Medicare understand the unique challenges that come with managing large events. To overcome these, we offer a comprehensive service that includes professional event planning and resource management. Our safety and emergency management experts work tirelessly to guarantee seamless, safe, and well-organised events.

At Medicare EMS, we believe that providing exceptional healthcare services goes hand-in-hand with protecting the health of our planet. That’s why we have launched our comprehensive Green Plan, a cornerstone of our commitment to achieving a Net Zero Health Service.
Our Green Plan is a bold initiative that reflects our dedication to sustainability and our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact. We have set an ambitious target to reduce our directly controlled carbon emissions by 5% annually, with a goal of achieving an 80% reduction between 2028 and 2032, and ultimately reaching net zero by 2040.
To achieve these goals, Medicare EMS is implementing a range of initiatives, including enhancing energy efficiency across our facilities, adopting sustainable procurement practices, and forming partnerships with eco-friendly suppliers. We are also committed to engaging our staff, patients, and the wider community in our sustainability journey, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

Our academy
To maintain our high service standards, we believe in nurturing talent from the ground up. The Medicare Academy offers industry-leading training and qualifications, providing a platform for aspiring healthcare professionals to build a robust foundation and for seasoned professionals to further hone their skills.
We are committed to providing a learning environment to suit individual needs. Whether you are new to the pre-hospital care industry or wanting to continue your learning journey we will have a course for you. From being in the centre of the pitch in a busy football stadium to treating a patient in an underground tube station, our immersive suite is designed specifically for pre-hospital care and training. This allows for human factors to be including in our education to ensure you have a realistic experience in a safe environment.
Our services extend beyond on-site care
At Medicare we pride ourselves on client care. Providing robust and safe medical cover to your organisation is only one of the benefits of working with Medicare. You will have a dedicate team of managers supporting your event and/or contract overseen by one of our directors. You will be provided with access to our management team 24/7 to communicate any last-minute changes or unforeseen issues that require our support or action. Our team will work with you ever step of the way to ensure that your organisational needs are met.
